More Holiday Hair Styles
I’m a strong believer more is better than less when it comes to viewing new, professional hair styling tips, especially this time of year. Having a great hair-do for the Holidays, makes you feel good, and when you feel good, you look good. If you still are looking for a new-do to try this season, check out what the professional hairdressers from Nexxus are showing in these formal updo hair styling videos.
Seeing that they do all the work explaining the step by steps of these hair styles, all I want to add are some reminders of a few small, but most effective things, that you can do to make your hair look it’s best;
-
If you haven’t had a hair trim in the past 5-6 weeks . . . do it.
-
If your hair color looks drab or is in need of brightening up, it’s not too late to make an appointment for a color refreshing . For some of you, that may be the #1 thing and possibly the only thing needed to rejuvenate your hairstyle!
-
Whether in a hair care salon or at home, take time to do a deep conditioning treatment. It will add much-needed moisture, shine and body to your hair. Use a clarifying shampoo beforehand, for best results. To deep condition use a good heavy conditioner like Paul Mitchell Super Charge, or any conditioner specified as a deep conditioner, for best results. Apply to towel dried hair and comb through. Cover with plastic cap. Apply heat from hair dryer and cover with a towel. Leave on 20 to 30 minutes or more. (It helps to give your hair a periodic blast of hot air once in a while which will help the conditioner penetrates more deeply.)
Happy Holidays All !!
