Errol Douglas wins BHA for Black Hair Styles
Errol Douglas, pulls out another win at the British Hairdressing Awards 2007, with these innovative black hair styles!
He has done this before taking home the ‘Afro Hairdresser of the Year Award’ in 94′ and 96′.

I love hair styles award shows. It’s amazing that we keep getting new and unique entries where no two styles are alike and each one is a work of art. hairdressers that choose to compete have reason to let their imaginations run wild and bring to the table new ideas that keep our industry fresh and exhilarating.
The British Hairdressing Awards 2007 was held in Knightsbridge, London. Any salon based hairdresser can enter in this show and will end up competing against many of the top hair designers of the region. The competition itself is not done live on stage, but is judged entirely by photographic entries. hairdressers have a number of different categories to choose from when entering such as, Afro, Men’s and Avant Guarde to mention a few.

For all you hairdressers out there, if you want to take your skills to the next level . . . enter a competition. That’s a sure way to tap into your creativity and expand your horizons. Even if you don’t take home the award, you will come away with more knowledge and recognition.
You could be the next, ‘Hairdresser of the Year ‘. . . but only if you try!

Wow – those are some pretty radical hair styles! But I guess those are what they are looking for on the runway. I really like the first one. I think it fits well on the model as well as how she is posed an dressed.

I think these are some awesome styles. Black hair is a form of art, when I was in Cosmetology school my instructor brought in a few models and what she was able to accomplish was a piece of art. Just beautiful!!
