Reese Witherspoon’s Walk The Line Hairstyles Work For Her
Reese Witherspoon, “she wears it well!” Her new hair color and hair style that is, for the movie, Walk the Line, to be released mid November. She portrays June Carter, the rock behind the hard living, country music legend, Johnny Cash. (Looks to be a good movie, which follows the early years of Johnny Cash’s life.)
The “Legally Blonde” star makes the cross over from her blonde hair color to a brunette hair color looks easy but, this hair color change wouldn’t do as well for many of you with blonde hair. . .Why? It’s all about getting it right with your skin tone.
This hair color change works because:
- Reese’s skin tone is cool and on the pale side.
- Her hair colorist formulated a cool brown shade, even the hair high lights are cool.
If you are hedging on doing a dramatic hair color change, well, first I would say leave it to the hair colorist professionals. The more complicated the process, the more you should leave it in the hands of the experts. Finding a professional hair colorist is no different than finding a good hairdresser, doctor, dentist, etc. Get a referral! If you’re going to color your hair at home a little homework will pay off big time!
Although I know it’s hard to determine your own skin-tone, try my questionnaire to get an idea if you fall more towards warm or cool coloring.
