A Classic Bob Hairstyle Never Goes Out of Fashion

  • THE HAIRCUT ~~ Today’s classic bob hairstyle shape is softened, slightly round and is a great look for bangs or fringe that is growing out. At George Four Seasons Spa Salon, Sertac Ozturk razors former bangs into slightly shorter front pieces and keeps the back as long as possible. A few long layers add the shape and movement to the bob hairstyle. Because the bottom is slightly broken up, the usually super-smooth bob has a whole new feeling.

  • THE HAIR COLOR ~~ Many women favor reds this time of year because they can be dark or light, warm or cool. Here, a strong red in the medium range is cool enough to complement pale, cool skin tones.

  • HOW TO STYLE IT ~~ Work a quarter-sized amount of mousse into the roots and ends, then comb through to even out placement. Dry from underneath to remove excess moisture and add a touch of lift at the roots, then straighten up and use a large-diameter round brush. Turn ends under and kick up the volume as you move from the bottom up.
