The Blondes of the 2009 Peoples Choice Awards. A hair style pattern?

“Peoples Choice Awards Hair Styles”I must admit, I needed to bow out early on, Peoples Choice Awards 2009. It was about as boring as it gets. The host, Queen Latifah, became passe quickly with the overly-exuberant, overly-done request “can you entertain the masses in 2009?” The response each recipient was predictably being led to give was, “yes we can” in mimicry of Barack Obama . . . Yawn.

And the ladies hair styles in this 35th season of the Peoples Choice Awards, were pretty predictable and yawn-able too.  I’ve been searching for one great hair style to write about from the show and I’m coming up blank!! Hair styles were so the same old, same old . . . that would be . . . long lightly layered hair, mostly with soft wavy type curls . . . mostly blonde!! Blah, blah, blah. Maybe it’s just me showing the effects of the winter doldrums but, Hollywood hairdressers could use some shaking up in the creative thinking dept.

Here’s what I’m talking about;

Peoples Choice Award Kate Hudson

Kate arrived a bit late to the ceremonies missing her spot to present an award. Ellen DeGeneres filled in and half-politely explained Kate was held up in traffic. (Maybe that had something to do with why her hair style looked  . . . not quite finish.)

Peoples Choice Award Reese Witherspoon

Reese picks up the award for Favorite Female Movie Star, in “Four Christmases.”! This hair color is great on her and the simplicity of this smooth, side swept hair style suits her well.

Peoples Choice Award Paris Hilton

What was she doing here? Who was she with? Paris Hilton’s hair style is predictable wouldn’t you say?

Peoples Choice Award Queen Latifah

Even the Queen went Blonde, lightly layered and softly curled!  She took home the award for Favorite Drama in “Secret Life of Bee’s.”

Peoples Choice Award Jennifer Morrison

Jennifer Morrison from “House” wears long blonde, lightly layered and softly curled hair style . . . is that any surprise?
