Oscars Best Hairstyles Trends – Sweet N’ Simple
“Oscars Best Hairstyles”If I had to say what was the biggest hairstyles trend of the Oscars, it would have to be the simple updo.
For those starlets with perfect oval or oval/heart face shapes, the updo was the hairstyle most often chosen AND it fit the young and older actresses equally well. Most of the updos were a slightly, pompadour-ish swept back look that was then secured into soft buns. Hair accessories were mostly absent, and rightfully so as the emphasis at the Oscars is all about the dress!
Another Oscar best hairstyles trend was seen on Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Sandra Bullock. They all wore there hair simply down and swept over one shoulder. Kate Winslet’s hairstyle had the ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’ look to it by keeping it flat with a controlled wave. Cameron Diaz, curled it and Sandra Bullock flattened it.
