Long Hair Pony-Tails an Easy Summer Hair Style
“Long Hair Pony-Tail”
Love this clean, eclectic long hair pony-tail that was shown on just about every Gottex swimwear model at the ‘08 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for Spring and Summer in New York City. Hair designer, Hanna Shauriki gets my applause for creating simplistic elegance with a style where also . . . form follows function!
When the summer heat is on and you’re in need of a long hairstyle that will hold up against the elements, this is it. This style is the exemplary, the ideal! It’s a simple style to achieve, it speaks of the essence of summer and it will hold all the ding-dang day.
The famed Redken stylist, Hannan Shauriki, used just two products on this models hair. He wet the hair down with Redken Curl Force 17 texturizing spray gel and Blonde Glam Crystal Flash Shine Treatment. He braided two pony-tails together and used clear elastics to tie the pony-tail and backcombed the ends for an eclectic, edgy finish to it. He finishes it by spraying a hair coloring brush with spray gel and brushing it on the hair to give the hair a shinier, more glossy finish.
You can view parts of the show below, buy a forewarning though . . . these bathing suits are probably not ones you’re likely to be seeing at your next beach party, and these thin little bodies are probably not going to show up either . . . but the long hair pony-tails . . . maybe!
