Big hairstyles are out | long and straight hairstyles are in

So says David Evangelista, hair stylist to the stars. Each year David does a CBS Morning Show appearance where he critiques the hairstyles from the Fashion Week show. This is one that I don’t miss, as not only is David one of my favorite celebrity hair stylist, but these reviews are always accompanied by great video. In the video David Evangelista shows you how to style each one of the featured hairstyles. Take a look you won’t be dissapointed.

(CBS) If you want the clothes models were wearing on the runways during New York’s recent Fashion Week, you’ll have to wait months until the new styles appear in stores for spring.

But if you want Fashion Week hairdos, you can recreate them right now.

On Monday, The Early Show’s stylist to the stars, David Evanglista, showed how to get the hottest ones: straight hair, a bun, and a slick “half-up ‘do.”

But before that, Evangelista discussed a few general trends.

First, big hair is over and out.

Hair on the runways could be summed up with three words: sleek, slick, and straight.
