Hair Trends Spring and Summer

This seasons top hair trends
Hair Trends This Season are Simplistic and Innocent with a Matte Finish!
Put away all the shiny making tools and fancy styling paraphernalia this spring and summer! According to renowned hairstylist and Redken Creative Consultant, Guido Palau, the look this season in hair sytle trends can be done simply and easily with little product and even less tools. He styles most of this seasons beauties with his hands and a blow-dryer.
Tell me it’s so Joe . . . this will give the majority of strands this spring and summer, a well deserved rest. Just imagine the time you will save by not wrestling your locks into submission every day. Summer is the time for casual, quick, easy and natural looking hair. This seasons hair trends, as shown by Guido at the Spring/Summer 2008 Runway Hair Trends from New York, London, Milan & Paris have a familiar 70’s feel with a bit of a twist.
You can see this years show, including backstage interviews and how-to’s from Guido, on a DVD included in the March issue of American Salon Magazine. He designs the hair to best suit this seasons fashions as shown by Prada, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin and Louis Vuitton.
The adjectives you’ll hear by Guido in describing these spring/summer hair styles are; understated, sophisticated, simple, soft and untouched innocence. He literally does little touching or puttsing to these runway do’s, nothing looks too ”done.”
Low ponytails, loose falling braids, rough blow-dried hair with a matte finish and some light back-brushing. The matte finish is key for these looks and just the opposite of the shiny reflective smooth and flat hair that we’ve been seeing for quite some time now.
I’ll always be a fan of shiny, healthy looking hair, but it’s a welcomed break for your hair and you to go more natural this summer. Less struggling, more time, healthier hair . . . what’s not to like?
