Hair Drying Tips From The Professionals
From the Chicago Tribune comes this interesting article on hair drying tips. “Hair Drying Tips, Never rub your hair with a towel, it causes breakage” They interviewed several hair stylists from the Chicago area. Full of good information, the article at times contradicts itself.
One technique that I disagree with completely is towel hair drying while the hair is wet. Hair is at its most vulnerable state when wet. Rubbing your wet hair vigorously with a towel can cause heavy duty breakage.
Never rub, if you must use a towel just, throw it over your head and hold the towel against your hair letting the towel absorb through its natural fibers. Other than that, I think the article is full of some pretty good hairstyling tips and techniques.
