Elisha Cuthbert’s Stunning Short Hairstyle

Elisha Cuthbert shows the way for those of you who are gun shy about short hair

“It is a shame how few women are bold enough to go short.”
These two before of Elisha Cuthbert pictures give you an idea how powerful an impact short hair can have on some hair types. Many times during my career I have had clients with fine and thin hair who are reluctant to cut it short when I have recommended it.
I believe there is some psychological fear of wearing short hairstyles, I not sure exactly what it is, but I have heard enough responses that mention being afraid, for it to be coincidence. I’d be interested in hearing comments from anyone who can explain it for me.
If you have fine and thin hair and have been wearing your hair in medium or long hairstyles, these photos will give you the courage to take the leap and try a short haircut. It is a shame how few women are bold enough to go short.

it’s because long hair is seen in society as sexy and womanly (sign of fertility in some cultures even!) and short hair too manly! which is a shame, some women do look fabulous with short hair.

i think the apprehension comes from that once a woman has grown her hair long. its been long for a while because its taken a large amoutn of time to get the length. so to go and chop it all off is a huge step. and a lot of women cant imagine it on them before seeing it. so theyre scared it wont suit their face shape or they just wont like it.

I used to have gorgeous thick hair, but unfortunately now it’s thinning especially on top. I’ve had my hair cut short (really short - above my ears) many times and I’ve had it so long I could sit on it. I’m apprehensive about cutting it short now because I’m afraid it will look even more thin than before since there will be less hair.
