Even though fall hair trends cover the gamut of long, medium and short hair and bangs or no bangs, “it’s the shorter hairstyles that will stand out this fall” says Oribe, celebrity hair guru.  And I think he’s right that short bangs hairstyles will really stand out this fall, as long hair has become so common.“No Fuss Fall Hair Trends”
My guess is the fall hair trend that will be requested most often will be the new medium and short bob hairstyles that we see cropping up all over Hollywood.  It’s easier for most of us to make smaller commitments when it comes to changing our hairstyles. It’s easier to trim old summer damaged ends off into medium layered haircuts.   But, it’s these short and sweet, inspired by Rihanna hairstyles that will most likely be the most noticed fall hair trend this year.

Love the caramel hair highlights on Oprah even if it is a wig! Short bangs hairstyles like these don’t need much fuss, just a little product to smooth and add shine and need I say . . . keeping the hair in great condition.

Here is how Ulta hair stylist Rodney Cutler, created this short fall hair trend above.

• Apply a quarter size dollop of RRedken align 12 ultra straight balm throughout the hair. Using a paddle brush and blow-dryer, smooth the hair around the scalp from side to side. Then using a circular pattern blow-dry clockwise and then counter-clockwise. Continue to dry the hair back and forth until the hair is completely dry.

• Apply a few drops of Redken glass 01 smoothing serum in the palms of your hands and warm between the hands. Run your fingers through the hair to create shine and a subtle textured finish.

• Lightly spritz with Redken quick dry 18 instant finishing spray for a manageable, all-day hold.

Celebrity hairstylist Oribe can’t help himself lately when it comes to recreating bob hairstyles! Last month it was Scarlett Johannson who debuted an altogether new long bob hairstyle Oribe created and now it’s Halle Berry wearing a new head-turning short bob hairstyle!

Bob Hairstyles”Love these chic new bob hairstyles he created for Halle Berry’s cover shoot on Vogue’s September issue! Halle has never been one to shy away from changing her hairstyle and this shorter bob hairstyle with bangs looks marvelous on her.
Oribe said the clothes for the shoot for the September issue of Vogue, inspired him to go with this look with flat, straight hair with soft, moveable bangs.

Get the look:
You want to create the smoothest, flattest look you can so put your volumizing products aside for the moment. Blow dry smooth, use a smoothing serum if needed. Spray with a thermal protecting spray and smooth with a flat iron.

We first saw these new long shattered bob hairstyles on Scarlett in the end of July. I have to admit, it’s not my favorite, but it is a new and unique bob hair cut with its tattered, uneven ends. Oribe seems to have started something here when you look at the following celebrities who have jumped on the band-wagon with the new bob hairstyles.

Who can wear these bob hairstyles?
Oribe says it can look good on everybody. He says you can adapt the layering to fit your specific hair texture. If you have wavy hair he suggests cutting this less jagged so the line is still left strong. The back is cut slightly shorter than the sides.

Get the look: 
If your hair is naturally wavy, just let it air-dry. You can use a volumizing spray or root lifter to add fullness like; TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost Spray If you have straighter hair, Oribe suggests using a volumizing spray and drying hair upside down without a blow-dryer. If you want more curl, use a curling iron from the mid-shaft of your hair and leave the ends out. What’s your best hair style?

Since we’ve been on the Chelsea Clinton hair bandwagon lately, I thought why stop now . . . Chelsea’s Mom, that would be current Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, was no doubt key in influencing Chelsea’s Cinderella story from unruly, curly girl to the chic, smooth haired, sophisticated lady she is today. Do you know, “what’s your best hairstyle?” It matters!

“What’s Your Best Hairstyle? Bangs or No Bangs?, Layered Hairstyle?”Maybe it was because of the wild-child hair Chelsea Clinton was born with, that pushed her Mother into becoming an adamant, pro-hair image type, or not. But, Hilary clearly tells us how important she believes our hairstyles are in our lives.

Here is what Hilary had to say in her commencement speech to the graduating class at Yale University in 2005, regarding her thoughts about the significance of their hair or hair styles. “The most important thing I have to say today, is “hair matters” . . . Pay attention to your hairstyle because everyone else will.”

Wow, that was surprising! When “the most important thing” Hilary Clinton had to say to the Yale graduating class was . . .”pay attention to your hair” . . . well, I must confess, I was taken back a bit! But then as I thought about it, the entire Clinton family, President Clinton, Hilary and Chelsea, have all been under a microscope pretty much all of their lives where any and every flaw or imperfection is magnified ten times over.
