Taylor Swift Curls and Auburn Hair Color at MTV Awards!

Taylor Swift Straight Hair Auburn Hair Color and Long Hair Dominate MTV Awards

Taylor Swift Straight Hair Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Myley Cyrus with Auburn Hair Color

Britney Spears certainly redeemed herself this year at the MTV Video Music Awards. Good for her! Did you happen to notice all the celebrity long hairstyles at the VMA’s this year? There sure were some beautiful, long locks flowing down the red carpet Sunday night. Some celebrities showed off their long hairstyles with new shades of hair color, or their own trademark auburn hair color. The very expectant, Ashlee Simpson, wore a beautiful dark auburn hair color, which I thought was very agreeable on her. Keep your eye on redheads this season, you’ll see red hair color in a variety of hues, is an especially hot hair color this fall! Auburn Hair Color on Ashlee Simpson With her green eyes and heart shaped face, the auburn hair color and face-framing cut perfectly enhances her eyes and chin. The shade of hair color boosts her natural skin tone and it improves on her already evident, organic glow. I think she looked cool and confident, while so expectant, at the MTV awards. Ashley Tisdale’s long straight, layered haircut was a smashing look for her. She has a feathery fringe that frames her face and blends in with her layered haircut. Her gold and blonde high lights with over scores of brown, matches her eyes like a dream.

Layered Haircuts How to Get the Look

If you like this look, it requires a lot of flat ironing starting from the underneath layers and working your way up. First blow-dry hair smooth, using a smoothing serum if needed. It is easiest to pin the top up while flat ironing the underneath layers first. This way, you can make sure you get each level as straight as you want it, before you move up. To get the top of your hair to look like Ashley Tisdale’s, as you get to the top layers, lift the hair straight up from the scalp and run it through the flat iron. This will give you a little extra lift at the root and on top and elongate the look of your face a bit. Another long-haired beauty on the red carpet was Taylor Swift; I think she is one of the most beautiful young talents, in the music and video world today. Her long, curly blonde hair is so charmingly suited for her face, with the side-swept part.

Taylor Swift Hairstyles for Prom How to Get the Taylor Swift Curls

She has naturally blonde hair with subtle light blonde high lights and it hangs in elegant, spiral curls over her shoulders. Curling your hair in spiral curls is easy once you get the hang of it. Take small sections at a time and pull the strand through your curling iron so that the end is at the bottom of the curling wand. Then wind the strand upward to ear level and hold it with moderate tension, slowly turn and release the curl while leaving the hair around the wand. Make sure the end of the strand goes through the wand to ensure the ends will be curled too. Taylor Swift curls are especially hot this season and add a feminine touch on hair of shoulder length and longer. So it seems that long hairstyles are still very hip and fashionable among today’s young celebrities. I love seeing the long hair styles on the red carpet and look forward to seeing what new creations our celebrity hairdressers are going to show us next!
