Beauty Salon Casting Call For Reality TV Show

Beauty Salon
Beauty Salon Makeover by Tabatha

Your Beauty Salon Could Get a Makeover on National TV

Bravo’s Shear Genius reality TV show is spinning off a beauty salon makeover show featuring the feisty Australian hairdresser Tabatha Coffey. Tabatha was one of the Sear Genius contestants, not the winner, but clearly one of the most interesting personalities in show.

Bravo is doing a casting call for the pilot of the new show to be called Tabatha’s Takeover. Each episode will feature the edgy Tabbatha visiting an American beauty salon, spending a week trying to shape up the operation or suggesting they shut it down. The format of the show sound a lot like Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and will be produced by Reveille, which also produces Blow Out and The Biggest Loser.

Tabbatha’s aggressive style is going to make the show somewhat interesting, but quite frankly I don’t see this being as interesting a show for mainstream TV watcher as was Shear Genius. It’ll attract some hard-core industry professionals and beauty salon owners, but my guess will fall short of the Bravo expectations. None the less it will be fun watching. I’ll keep an eye out for the first airing of a beauty salon makeover when it is announced.

In the meantime pass along the casting call hyperlink to your favorite beauty salon, who knows it just might make you into a TV star.

  2. Found your show last week and was enthralled with the show. Your personality and your meticulousness is fascinating and I filled my hair stylist in on your show. She was eager to know where to find your show and I could not remember, bummer. Anyway, I came her and found you and will pass the info on to her as she is dying to view your show. Every critque you made of each of these shops was right on the money. Actually, I think you should have fired some of these lazy ass girls. I wouldn’t want them working on my hair. Love the show..good luck….Judy

  6. Hello,

I work for a salon in Illinois called Antonio of Italy. Its a great salon with tons of personality which will make for great TV. What will also be awesome is that although we have tons of drama we are not afraid to confront our issues. we even do so in front of the costumers. I think are salon should get at least an interview

  12. We need your help. Please do an episode or bring reality TV to salons and teach them how to take care of clients that have cancer and need gentle hair massages, and soft care, natural nails and very special skincare with great products. So many of my clients compain about the salons being dirty and they feel very vulnerable anyway. Also they do need their scalp care to be different when their hair is growing back and we cant find any great salons here to help service my clients in my charity.
PLEASE HELP OUR CHARITY FIND GREAT CARE FOR CANCER CLIENTS
